About Anja Ozvald D.Ch.
Anja graduated from the Chiropody program at the Michner Institute of Applied Health Sciences in Toronto in 1992. She is a member of the Ontario College of Chiropodists, the Canadian Diabetes Association, and Autism Ontario- Windsor Chapter.
As the Senior Chiropodist for the Footcare Clinic at Windsor Regional Hospital and later Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare, Anja was responsible for assessing, treating, and preventing diseases, disorders and dysfunctions of the foot. She brings over 22 years’ experience, knowledge and a high level of clinical skill to provide her patients with expert treatment of their foot health needs.
About Our Clinic
Our clinic can be easily found on Forest Glade Drive in the Forest Glade Plaza. It is easily accessible from EC Row Expressway or from Tecumseh Rd. E., and features plenty of free parking only steps from the door. All instruments are sterilized in a tuttnauer autoclave adhering to strict sterilization standards exceeding college set standards of practice. The clinic accepts cash, debit, and credit, and provides direct billing to Green Shield.
About Chiropody
Chiropody is the only Canadian program that deals primarily with foot health issues through orthotic therapy and nonsurgical interventions. Practitioners complete at least three years of education which include biomechanics, pharmacology, orthotic manufacturing, prescribing, wound care, and many more. All registered Chiropodists regularly attend continuing education to stay current on the latest techniques and products. Anja’s special interests lie in pain relief through orthotic, therapeutic and palliative means.
